The show re-enacts situations where amongst many others pets orchestrate events that lead to their owner’s lives being save from deathly situations. A major staple of the show is occurs where people who never knew that they were related end up in 1 in a million situations and discover they are close cousins, siblings or even parent and child. Amongst the many heart warming segments of the show are those which people lose prized possessions such as family heirlooms or championship rings. The possessions are then found by a person who many months or years later hands them over in bizarre circumstances.

James, who may just be the first African to submit an entry to the show, is currently seeking a pirated DVD copy of the "Die Hard" movie for submission purposes. This flick is considered a major stepping stone to making actor Bruce Willis a Hollywood favourite in the US and around the world. "That he is able to kill all the terrorists leaving only one for his sidekick to kill later is surely beyond chance? The only good guys who die in this situation are a Japanese executive and a drugged out and extremely annoying employee who "had it coming." If you consider that he did this bare foot and with very little in his favour the odds is simply amazing. I bet Melissa Ethelridge (Beyond Chance's presenter) will find this quite interesting."
